LoCa was founded by engineer Thorkild Lundsgaard - and the name is a combination of Thorkild's two daughters Louise and Camilla. Today, the KNAX hook is the one we are best known for, and every KNAX product has been through many expert hands before it reaches the furniture, design and interior design houses.

KNAX is a 100 % Danish product. Every single piece of wood is hand-picked and selected, and all stages of processing and production take place in Denmark. This makes the coat rack unique in an industry where many products are produced in Eastern Europe or the Far East for price reasons.

We stick to making everything in-house because it ensures the quality we want in our products. Our customers appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into KNAX, and because our response time is short, we can often offer a delivery time and service that far exceeds what we could offer if we were dependent on waiting for containers from China.
