The design agency Harrit & Sørensen first designed KNAX in the early 90s, and the coat rack remains one of the agency's best-selling designs.

HarritSørensen is a Danish design company, founded by partners Thomas Harrit and Nicolai Sørensen in 1991. From their office located north of Copenhagen, HarritSørensen offers design services to a wide range of clients across the globe. 

In 1993, HarritSørensen designed the KNAX coat rack in collaboration with Thorkild Lundsgaard from LoCa, which to this day remains one of their best-selling products. Today, KNAX is sold all over the world, and they have subsequently helped to design several products, giving LoCa a larger product portfolio.

After many attempts and countless prototypes later, Thorkild and the designers arrived at the absolutely right combination of soft and hard material, which forms the perfect coat rack for the modern home.
